Lakme Sun Expert Ultra Matte Lotion SPF 50 PA+++ Review

If you follow me on Instagram, you would know I had posted about the new Lakme Sun Expert range. Today I am going to review Lakme Sun Expert Ultra Matte Lotion SPF 50 PA+++.

The sunscreen comes in a the patented Lakme sunscreen packaging. The dark yellow tube instantly reminds me of the Lakme Sunscreen that I used to use in my college days. The packaging is travel friendly and you can carry it anywhere with no fear of leakage or spillage.

The lotion is white in color and has perfect consistency. It is neither very thick nor very runny. The scent is mild and pleasant. I simply take a small amount of sunscreen and apply it all over my face after moisturizer. It applies nicely and gets absorbed quickly. It does not feel heavy or sticky but is very light. It does not give whitish cast unlike other Lakme Sunscreens. Though Lakme says it is matte but I feel it gives a nice dewy look to the skin without making it oily or greasy. You must apply sunscreen 20 minutes before stepping out in the sun.

I had used it a lot in this summer season and I have not faced issues of sun tan or sun burn. It has SPF 50 PA+++ which is quite broad spectrum. It contains cucumber extracts and vitamin B3 that moisturize the skin.

PROS:

- Gives a dewy look to the skin.

- Does not make skin look oily or greasy.

- Suits all skin types including acne prone skin.

- Does not give whitish cast.

- Reasonably priced.

- Travel friendly packaging.

- Non sticky.

CONS:

- None!

Overall Thoughts:

Overall, I am really loving Lakme Sun Expert Ultra Matte Lotion SPF 50 PA+++. It is light and non sticky and protects skin from harmful sun rays. Highly recommended!!!
