Diana of London Color Sensation Quad Eyeshadow Review

If you are an ardent reader of my blog, you would know how much I love copper, brown and gold in my eye makeup. Though I love experimenting with other colors but these colors are the most reached out in my eye shadow collection. Today I am going to review Diana of London Color Sensation Quad Eyeshadow. Diana of London Color Sensation Quad Eyeshadow comes in a lightweight white cardboard box packaging with information written at the back. The actual product comes in a super simple, sturdy round shaped white plastic case with a clear flip open lid. The shade name and number is written at the base of the case. The lid snaps shut satisfactorily and there is no fear of it being getting messed around in a makeup bag. The packaging is quite lightweight and fits easily in my small makeup bag.

The texture of the eye shadow is very soft, smooth and incredibly silky. Although the eye shadow is in powder form, it feels creamy whilst application. Application of the eye shadow is super easy. I love how it spreads easily all over my lids with absolutely no fall out. I simply sweep my eye shadow brush over the desired color and apply it over my eye lids. The eye shadow does not tend to fall over my cheeks unlike few other powdery eye shadows. It provides an even coverage without giving patchy look. The pigmentation is build-able to high. The pigmentation is just too good. Even without primer, the color comes off really well on my eyes! With the primer underneath, I get true and vibrant shades with just a single application. Girls, do invest in a good primer. It really does make a difference in both pigmentation and longevity. I use Too Faced Shadow Insurance Eye Shadow Primer!

The staying power of the eye shadow is pretty amazing. It stays on my slightly oily eyelids for the majority of the day without creasing. It is easy to remove with makeup removing wipes or a good makeup remover.

Diana of London Color Sensation Quad Eyeshadow comes in 7 different shades and I have #05 Autumn. It has 4 shades that fall into the brown, copper and gold department. All the shades are complementary and look gorgeous on eyes. The lightest shade is perfect for highlighter or as a base for soft brown smokey look. The second shade is a beautiful gold color that looks really good on its own. The third darkest shade is a mix of copper and bronze that looks pretty when used on its own. The last shade is a dark brown shade that is perfect for smokey looks. This is my favorite shade as it compliments my brown eyes and I love using it on its own. It instantly brightens up my eye area. All the shades have metallic finish to them and looks lovely with both day and night looks. This eye shadow quad is suitable for all skin tones and eye colors. The shades totally reminds me of Maybelline New York Diamond Glow Eye Shadow in Copper Brown but Diana of London has darker shades!.

Overall Thoughts:

Diana of London Color Sensation Quad Eyeshadow has become my favorite eye shadow quad since the time I am using it. It is awesome in terms of all aspects be it shade, texture, pigmentation or staying power! They are very easy to apply and if you are a buy mommy like then this is a no brainer eye shadow that can never go wrong!
