Kamaakshi Peppermint Rose Lip Balm Review

Yesterday I was not able to update my blog as Anaaya was not doing well. She was getting but did not have fever and was getting cranky a lot. Now that she is doing good, I am back with a review. This week, I had reviewed Kamaakshi Turmeric Carrot Seed Face Mask and I must everyone must check it out. Kamaakshi is one such Indian brand whose products are all natural and very effective on skin!

Kamaakshi Peppermint Rose Lip Balm

Price- Rs 360 for 5g BUY ONLINE

The balm comes in a tub packaging which is slightly unhygienic for me as each time I use it I had to make sure I have clean fingers. The lip balm is made from organic ingredients like candelilla wax, almond oil, vitamin E, essential oils along with ultra moisturizing Shea Butter. It also contains peppermint oil that provides instant cooling sensation and helps wearing out dead skin from the lips! All the ingredients are 100% natural and this lip is free from parabens or any other harmful chemicals!

Pure and natural!

The texture of the lip balm is slightly oily but gets absorbed pretty quickly. The lip balm provides instant relief and hydration to the lips. The scent of the lip balm is calming and natural. It does not smell like other lip balms with artificial fragrance! I think it smells like a mix of peppermint and rose! I never forget to sniff it each time I use it. As I told you my lips are getting dry and rough even in this hot weather, I feel this lip balm moisturizes my lips well and the effect is long lasting unless I eat or drink something. I need to reapply it if I eat or drink something. What I liked about this lip balm is it does not feel waxy or heavy and is great to keep your lips smooth before lipstick application. You do not need to wipe off your lip balm to apply lipstick! It's summer time and it gives me such lovely cooling sensation. The sensation stays for a good 5 minutes that I absolutely love!

PROS:
- Easy to carry! Lightweight packaging!
- Keeps my lips soft and moisturized!
- Treats dry and chapped lips!
- No waxy or greasy feel!
- Smells good!
- A little goes a long way!
- Provides instant hydration to the lips!
- Gives a cooling sensation to the lips!
- 100% natural!

CONS:
- Tub packaging! I wish it was in tube!
- Pricey!
- No manufacturing date in mentioned on the packaging! It's must for me!

Overall Thoughts:
Overall I love Kamaakshi Peppermint Rose Lip Balm fr its hydrating properties and cooling sensation. It is 100% natural and completely safe even when you apply it multiple times! If you are into natural products then you must try it out!

My Tips:
- Apply thin layer if you have normal lips!
- Reapply often if you have dry and chapped lips!
- You must exfoliate your lips once a week with a lip scrub!
- Do not share your lip balm with anyone!
- This lip balm works great as a lipstick base!
