Before you get confused by the name of the product, let me tell you it is a Kerala based authentic Ayurvedic skin brightening and de tanning oil. Who doesn’t like brightening and glowing skin? This oil is 100% natural with no chemicals. Shesha Naturals is an Indian skin care brand and I have already tried Shesha Naturals Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, soaps, dev thali shampoo and mud shampoo. The packaging of the nalpamaradi oil is clear with golden lid! I loved the simple packaging of the oil as it is easy to use without creating a mess! There is an inner lid that protects the oil from spillage! I have made a small hole in the inner lid to use the oil conveniently. All the information is printed at the back! The lid is quite tight and the bottle can be safely carried around while traveling.

The oil is orange-ish yellow in color with a mild fragrance of ayurvedic oils. Though I won’t say it has a pleasant fragrance but it is not bad either. It is very mild and hardly bothers me.

The oil has oil like consistency but it is not thick and greasy. I was really skeptical to try it out but boy I was amazed by its results. I simply take few drops of oil for my face and neck and apply it on my skin in circular motions. It spreads easily over my skin but you will have to massage it gently so it gets absorbed into the skin nicely. 

How do I use it?

I use it on my dry skin prior to taking shower. I then wash it off using a face wash after 20-25 minutes. I use it on alternate days!

The oil does not clog my pores and does not cause any breakouts as it does not contain comedogenic ingredients. My skin feels soft to the touch, smooth and moisturized. It gives a healthy glow to the skin and reduces marks, acne scars, pigmentation and de tanning within a week of usage. My skin looks more healthy and clearer since the time I am using this oil. If you are suffering from pigmentation, spots, uneven skin tones or discoloration then you are going to love it a lot. It contains sesame seed oil, turmeric that lighten the skin and make it more even and healthy. My skin feels balanced after using this oil and it has helped to stop any excess oils from being produced.

I have been suffering from mild acne and this oil lightens the redness and does not aggravate or irritate them. Overall I love Shesha Naturals Nalpamaradi Thailam. It makes my skin look even and smooth. I can definitely see my scars reducing with regular usage. I use it every other day and the results are visible. I would definitely recommend it to everyone who suffers from marks, scars, spots, dull skin, pigmentation and tanning.

My Tips:

• Massage it gently so it gets absorbed into the skin.
• Though you can use it overnight, but let me warn you it might stain your clothes as it contains turmeric.
• Use it for at least 20 minutes to get the utmost results.
