Kajal is the beauty of every Indian woman. Kajal is one such thing that makes me look alive even when I don’t use makeup. I have tried lots of kajal but I love only those that are jet black. Today I am going to review Flicka Kohl as Coal Eye Pencil* that I have been using for the last 1 month. Flicka. Flicka is an Indian makeup brand that is cruelty free that I really admire.
Price: ₹399
Flicka Kajal comes in a black cardboard box packaging which looks very attractive. The packaging reminds me of Parker pen box. The kajal is a sharpen-able pencil. The kajal pencil is really sleek and light so it is very easy to carry around in a bag whilst traveling!
The formula of the kajal is very creamy and glides on the waterline like a breeze. It is super pigmented and gives true jet black color in just a single stroke. I was literally impressed by the pigmentation of this kajal! I usually apply kajal only on my waterline. It stays on my waterline for a good 4-5 hours. After that it fades but does not smudge or make you look like a panda. As it is very creamy, I do not use it on my lower lash line. It is suitable for contact wearers as well.
The best thing about Flicka is their products are cruelty free and do not test on animals unlike other big brands. I really admire them and will shop more from them.
PROS:
- Jet black kajal.
- Soft and creamy formula.
- Makes eyes look awake and attractive.
- Can be used as both kajal and eye liner.
- Cruelty free. Good quality makeup can be made without testing on animals. Flicka is an example!
- Smudge proof.
- Lightweight and sleek pencil.
- Reasonably priced.
- Safe for contact lens wearers.
CONS:
- Average staying power.
Overall Thoughts:
Overall Flicka Kajal is an awesome smudge proof kajal for everyday wear or when you want really defined eyes. It is jet black and instantly makes my eyes look so attractive. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!
My Tips-
- To make the kajal last longer, apply a black eye shadow underneath your lower lashes.
- This eye pencil can also be used to create smokey eyes. It is jet black!!
