Owash Ultra Mild Oily Skin Wash Review

I used to have very oily skin that I had to literally wash my face 3-4 times a day but with age, my skin tends to gear towards dry skin. I still have oily T zone so I make sure to use a face wash meant for oily skin. Today I am going to review Owash Ultra Mild Oily Skin Wash* that I have been using for the last one month.

Owash Ultra Mild Face Wash comes in a sturdy, clear plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The whole bottle comes sealed in a thin plastic to ensure that the face wash has not been opened or used. The pump dispenser is like any other hand wash. You need to twist the pump for it to go up and you just need to press it to dispense the right amount of product.  The packaging is light but since it does not have any lid I fear carrying it with me in my bag. The face wash is warm orange in color with a very mild scent.

The texture of the face wash is soft and smooth with gel consistency. I pump small amount of face wash for both face and neck and it creates a decent amount of lather that feels really soft and nice on the skin. It gives a nice and fresh feeling to my skin. It washes away really quickly and does not leave greasy or sticky residue behind. My skin feels fresh, soft, smooth and thoroughly cleansed without any tightness. It removes dirt, oil and non waterproof makeup effectively but fails in removing waterproof makeup. It does maintain the pH level of the skin and does not strip off the moisture of the skin. As I have oily t zone but dry skin, I do not feel the need to moisturize my skin immediately as this face wash does not dry out the skin. I have not faced acne issues since the time I am using it. It contains salicylic acid that prevents my skin from breaking out. It also contains Kokum butter that moisturizes the skin. I have not faced any adverse effects whilst using it.

• A bit pricey.

• Might not be travel friendly as it does not have a lid.

Overall Thoughts:

Overall I absolutely love Owash Ultra Mild Face Wash. It is indeed a mild face wash and does not dry out the skin. It cleanses the skin effectively and prevents acne and pimples. My skin does not turn oily the whole day. I would highly recommend it to everyone with oily to combination skin.

My Tips-

1. Use it twice a day to get better results.
2. Always follow it up with a good moisturizer. Currently I am using a mix of aloe Vera gel+any face oil.
3. Follow a healthy diet and drink lots of water to keep your skin clear. A face wash alone won’t do it.
