Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre Moisturizer Review

I bought this very much raved moisturiser on the recommendation of a YouTuber. Though I buy products after doing proper research but don’t know why I bought this moisturizer without any research. By now you must have guessed that I am not impressed with Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre Moisturizer. Here is my honest review on it.

Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre Moisturizer comes in a simple white and blue cardboard box packaging with all the information printed over it. The actual product comes in a pharmacy kind of squeezable tube with a white screw top lid. Overall the packaging is quite good and travel friendly. The brand has mentioned the full list of ingredients that I really adore. By the way Embryolisse is a France based brand.

The moisturizer has soft and smooth texture with creamy consistency. I simply apply dots all over my face and neck and rub it in gently. It applies smoothly and spreads easily. After applying the cream, I was actually surprised to find that it gets absorbed in to the skin completely without leaving any residue behind but if you skin is very oily, then it might look shiny. My skin feels soft, smooth and thoroughly hydrated the whole day. I love using it prior foundation as it keeps my face hydrated and does not make it greasy (especially T zone!) at the end of the day unlike other creams. When I was at my hometown, winter already started and my skin was getting very dry. This moisturizer alone didn’t moisturizer my skin well and I had to use my other moisturizer for flawless makeup. I have not faced any adverse effects whilst using it. Though it contains comedogenic ingredients but fortunately it didn’t broke out my skin.

PROS:

• Travel friendly packaging.
• Mild fragrance which is very refreshing.
• Smooth texture with good consistency.
• Only a small amount is needed each time.
• Makes skin soft and moisturized.
• Does not break out the skin.

CONS:

• Does not work very well on very dry skin.
• Pricey.

Overall Thoughts:

Overall I find Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre a mediocre moisturizer that does just the work of moisturizing. It didn’t work magically on my dry skin. Any good moisturizer in lesser price range can does the work of primer. It’s just an okay kind of moisturizer and I will recommend you only if you have normal skin type and ready to spend more.
