Shesha Ayurveda Eladi Thailam Review

If you have crossed 30 then I highly suggest you to inculcate a body oil in your skincare regime. My skin has gotten dry as I am growing up and I love using oils on my skin. I have been using Shesha Ayurveda Eladi Thailam* for the last one month and I must say it’s the best thing that you need in this dry, chilly and windy weather. Shesha Ayurveda is one such brand that I really adore for its packaging, quality, pure ness and most importantly effectiveness. If you are a new reader here 5en let me tell you the founder of Shesha Ayurveda is my blogger friend and I love how honest and hardworking she is. I truly adore her products and her reviews. Here is my honest review on Shesha Ayurveda Eladi Thailam.

Price- ₹299 for 50ml BUY ONLINE

Currently Shesha Ayurveda is having discount on their website and you can get 100ml at 299 INR. Grab the oppurtunity!

The packaging of the Eladi Thailam is same as that of Nalpamradi thailam and Lakshadi thailam. Please head over to these reviews if you want to know to more about the packaging. 5e packaging is travel friendly and I had carried it with me during my hometown vacations and there was no leakage at all.

The oil is reddish brown in color with a calming fragrance of Ayurvedic oils. It is pleasant nose and makes me feel relaxed each time I use it. It is very mild and Ayurvedic kind of.

The oil has little thick oil like consistency but when it comes in contact with your skin, it gets absorbed really quickly. I love using it on my body than on my face as my facial skin is acne prone. Though it does not contain any comedogenic ingredient but I am still skeptical to try it on my face. May be I should consult their experts first then try.

How do I use Shesha Ayurveda Eladi Thailam?

As I mentioned earlier, I love using it on my body as a body oil. I massage it all over my skin prior taking bath, let it sit on my skin for about 5 minutes and rinse it off with warm water and a mild soap. It gets off easily without making my skin feeling greasy or heavy, it doesn’t spoil my clothes with its oiliness. My skin feels oh so soft and hydrated. Every year, I face dry and flakey skin but this year my skin is normal and well hydrated. I haven’t faced any adverse effects whilst using it.

Shesha Ayurveda Eladi oil also makes skin look radiant and healthy. It can be used both on face and body. If you have used it on face, do let me know in the comments section below how it treated you. I use it once a week as a body oil but it can be used everyday.

PROS:

  • Travel friendly packaging.
  • 100% natural.
  • Gets absorbed quickly.
  • Mild and calming fragrance.
  • Makes skin look radiant.
  • Hydrates the skin and makes it super soft.

CONS:

  • None!

Overall Thoughts:

I used many oils from this brand and I really loved Shesha Ayurveda Eladi Thailam and extra virgin coconut oil the most. They are very effective and suited my skin to the core. If you are looking for an oil that not only hydrated your skin but makes it look radiant, then I highly recommend to try Eladi Thailam.

My Tips:

  1. Make a hole in the inner cap for easy access of the oil.
  2. Store in a cool, dry place,
  3. Use it at least once a week.
  4. You get this oil in 2 quantities- buy the smaller version if you love carrying it while traveling or if you want to try it out before buying the bigger one.
