DIY Moisturiser for Glowing Skin Tried & Tested

Few months back, I had a chat with one of my ardent reader Neha (she’s a reader of my blog since don’t know when😍) and I loved how her skin was glowing in DP. I asked her the secret behind such clear and bright skin and guess what I have been following it since one month and I loved it. So here I am sharing my reader’s secret that I used too, to get glowing and clear skin.

Although I tried this recipe and posted about it here before but it has one more ingredient and it was a game changer. Let’s move onto the DIY homemade face pack or moisturizer to get radiant skin.

Ingredients

Rose water. I have used Shesha Ayurveda Pure Rose Water

Glycerin. Bought it from pharmacy!

Lemon juice

Method:

You just need to mix the three ingredients and tada it’s ready to go on your face. Neha told me to make a fresh batch every time as lemon oxidizes and may not work well so I take 1 teaspoon of Rose water, 1/4 teaspoon of glycerin and 2-3 drops of lemon juice. Please don’t use a lot of lemon juice as your skin may become photosensitive. I apply this mixture at bedtime after washing my face well with a face wash. I don’t need any other moisturizer with it as glycerin acts as a perfect moisturizer and perfect for dry skin. Lemon is a natural bleaching agent and clears out all the spots and marks. Rose water is the best ingredient in the world for me and just its presence makes me feel refreshed😀. It makes my skin so lively and healthy.

I apply this moisturizer once a week just to make sure my skin does not become photosensitive and it work perfectly for me. My skin looks radiant and clear. It won’t make you glow like an ad girl but surely makes it look healthy. It will suit all skin type but if you are suffering from acne or have super sensitive skin then avoid it.

Thank you once again Neha for sharing your secret recipe. I loved it and hope it would be useful for my readers as well.
