Shesha Ayurveda Kumkumadi Thailam Review

If you read my blog regularly, you would know I have incorporated facial oils in my skincare regimen, especially at bedtime skincare regime. This is the best decision I have ever made to take care of my skin without applying n number of products. For the last 2 years, I have been using kumkumadi oils (of various brands) and my skin has been looking its best. Today I am going to review Shesha Ayurveda Kumkumadi Oil* that I have finished till its last drop! Kukumadi oils are the best facial oils i have tried without slathering loads of chemicals on your face and it is effective too!

Price- Rs 750 for 5ml (available in 10ml as well!)

BUY ONLINE HERE or HERE

The packaging of Shesha Ayurveda Kumkumadi Thailam is elegant and sturdy. It comes in a brown cardboard box packaging with all the information printed over it. The actual product comes in a dark brown glass bottle with a pump nozzle that makes it very easy to use. Initially when you purchase, the bottle comes sealed with a screw top lid with a dropper neatly packed. The packaging is travel friendly and can be easily carried around in a bag without expecting any mess.

Comes with a stopper

I have always loved their aesthetic packaging!

Shesha Ayurveda Kumkumadi Thailam is a blend of saffron, wonderful oils and milk. It is free from chemicals or artificial fragrance thus is safe to use on sensitive skin.

Luxury in itself

Kumkumadi Tailam is golden orange in color with a sweet smell. It is a lightweight oil that gets absorbed into the skin in a jiff. I loved the smell and it gives instant relief to my skin and makes it look hydrated and healthy.

How to use Shesha Ayurveda Kumkumadi Thailam?

I simply take 3-4 drops of  Kumkumadi oil and apply in dots all over the face and neck. I then massage it lightly onto the skin. I apply it at bedtime and my skin looks so bright and healthy. It had also made my skin clear and light. My skin got reallly dry and dull when i moved to Bangalore but with the consisitent usage of Shesha Ayurveda Kumkumadi Oil, my skin looks plump and youthful. Shesha Ayurveda Kumkumadi Thailam contains saffron, majishtha, sandalwood, licorice and goat's milk with a base of sesame oil. I use it everyday at bedtime. It is also used to treat pigmentation and dark circles. I use only almond oil or eye creams for my dark circles so haven't used it!

PROS:

  • Lovely smell.
  • Travel friendly packaging.
  • Easy to use!
  • Free from chemicals and artificial fragrance. 100% natural!
  • Brightens the skin with regular usage.
  • Lightens spots and acne marks.
  • Makes skin looks plump and healthy.
  • Must have if you are above 30!

CONS:

  • Very pricey for the quantity!

Overall Thoughts:

I  absolutely loved Shesha Ayurveda Kumkumadi Oil. It has made my skin healthy, radiant and clear. My skin got so dull and dry but with its consistent usage, my skin looks more youthful and glowing. I would highly recommend it to everyone (i have acne prone skin!) but I am really disappointed with the price so would repurchase during discount and offers!

My Tips:

  1. Use it bedtime after washing your face.
  2. I also use it with my favorite gua sha!
  3. I keep it overnight!
  4. I use it on it's own without layering with other skincare products!
