In the realm of makeup, mascara stands as one of the most transformative tools, capable of elevating your entire look with just a few strokes. In my case, mascara hardly makes a difference to my eye look. I pretty much skip mascara these days as they hardly curl or lengthen my long lashes. I literally do not feel any difference in my lashes after applying mascara. Recently while strolling around in mall, i came across a Maybelline outlet and bought Maybelline Hypercurl Mascara randomly. It is waterproof and the SA told me that it gets removed easily without much hassle! Here is my review on it:

The packaging of Maybelline Hyper Curl Mascara is pretty simple but I like the combination of glossy pink and matte black. It is super light and can be carried around in a bag. It gives definition to my eye but does not curl up my lashes distinctively. It lengthens the eyelashes and makes it look long. It does clump a bit but adjusting the lashes with the wand removes the clump. It is super light and does not weigh down my lashes. It does not flake or smudge and is truly waterproof. I tried it under rain and yes it is WATERPROOF! It does not make lashes hard like other mascaras.
The shape of the mascara brush is slightly curvy and gives a slight curl to my lashes. When it comes to curling lower eye lashes, it is just too hard to do it. I always end up smudging it on my eye area.
PROS:
- Packaging.
- Formulation is just right. It is neither runny nor dry.
- Smudgeproof and smearproof. Waterproof indeed!
- Looks natural. Perfect to use at day time.
- Does not feel heavy on lashes.
- Easy to remove with a good makeup remover.
- Stays until you remove makeup.
CONS:
- I did not like the applicator.
- Pricey. I prefer my mascaras to be in the range 200-300.
- Does not give a curly look to my lashes.
Overall Thoughts:
Overall i find Maybelline Hyper Curl mascara a decent one. It is great for everyday use as it doesn't make lashes look dramatic or over the top. I did not find it a curling mascara but it gives a beautiful definition to my lashes!

I actually use this brand of mascara and I have to say that it does do its job for the price. Yes, they are somewhat pricey but at least for now, this brand is the cheapest brand I know that guarantee a decent result, all the other brands I can buy in Italy, that cost less, have a low quality and result. I must say that I also prefer another type of applicator, in fact the ones I use have a smaller and more rubber like applicator.
