If you have problematic skin like mine, then you would know how important it is to use a primer before applying makeup. My favorite primer used to be Revlon Photoready Primer that I repurchased many times but being a beauty blogger, this time i thought to try something new. I browsed online and ordered Renee Bollywood Filter. I have used few products from Renee previously and quite liked them. After using it for a good 3-4 months, here is my review on it!

Renee says-
Blur out your fine lines and wrinkles in a single swipe with Renee Bollywood Filter. Whipped up with a smooth & lightweight texture, this product is specially formulated to reveal the picture perfect skin & make your Bollywood dreams come true!
My Review-
The packaging of Renee Bollywood Filter is very attractive and lightweight. It comes in a small glass tub with a glossy black lid. There is also an inner lid that protects the primer from getting dry. The tub in turn comes in a black cardboard box packaging with all the details written on it.
The primer has gel like texture and is pink in color. I absolutely loved the color of the primer. The smell is little strong yet tolerable!
The texture of the primer is very soft and smooth with gel consistency. Before using the primer, I always make sure to moisturize my face with a moisturizer and let it soak it into my skin for few minutes. I then take a small pea size amount of primer and apply it all over my face lightly.
The primer can be worn alone or under foundation. I prefer to apply it before my makeup. I simply apply the primer on my moisturized skin using my fingertips. It is easy to apply and feels really smooth on skin. You can instantly feel the difference in softness to the skin. It does create a perfect canvas to your makeup. I do have few visible pores and after using this primer I feel my skin looks more soft, smooth and supple. I do have few blemishes and it smoothens out the skin really well. It does not leave any sticky feeling behind. I do not need to wait to apply foundation. I usually apply the foundation with a makeup brush and it applies easily and blends in quickly without any patches. My skin looks soft, smooth, flawless and healthy. My makeup stays put very well throughout the day without wearing off. As I have dry skin, I always make sure to set it up with a powder foundation to get more sophisticated look. The primer gives a healthy, radiant look to my skin as opposed to a matte look which I am generally not fond of.
